50% Carignan from sustainably farmed 120-140 year old head trained vines on sand in Contra Costa, 50% Riesling a certified organic cold, windy vineyard in Monterey County. The Riesling is skin fermented until ~6% abv at which point pressed carbonic Carignan is added with daily pump overs until everything is fermented to dryness and then pressed off resulting in an extraordinary chillable, yet structured, red wine. 12% ABV
