From the importer: Sylvain Pataille is among the most instrumental winemakers in Burgundy, celebrated not only for his sophisticated dedication to organic and biodynamic viticulture, but also for his leadership in bringing the Aligoté grape and the Marsannay appellation onto center stage. Born in Marsannay-la-Côte, his path to winemaking began early. Sylvain pursued formal education at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, followed by advanced studies at the University of Bordeaux. Before founding his own domaine in 1999, Sylvain worked as a consulting oenologist sharing his expertise and helping to elevate their winemaking practices.
