This is a brother to their other Barbera Superiore, with one main difference, an additional 6 months in amphorae. The idea was to experiment with aging in terracota, and the result was quite interesting. The clay seemed to soften the intense and raw acidity prevalent in their other Barbera, and makes this version more approachable. Familiar notes of Barbera, dark fruits, spice, but with a much livelier mouth feel.
