Made in the spirit of the forgotten about style of Monongahela Rye, made from 85% Flag Hill grown rye and 15% malted barley. It is aged in small batches of 4 – 53 gallon barrels. This allows every batch to maintain a level of consistency but still be exciting release to release. Always made at the Flag Hill estate, never sourced and never compromising quality.
A small sip reveals soft buttery honey notes, a little bit of weight and a sweet drying finish. Made with locally grown rye and a whole lot of attention.
