Sourced from three vineyards planted in 1980 and 1989 on a mix of limestone and clay soils. Each variety is vinified separately with 5% of the chardonnay done sous voile. Aged 18 months in used barrels before blending and an additional 18 months of elevage in tank.
Textural Chardonnay meets racy Savagnin in a blend that is more complex than the sum of its parts. Notes of fennel, citrus, and quince with pronounced salinity.
