Terroir: 2/3 from Maranges, 1/3 from Pierres Dorées in the southern Beaujolais, with fossiliferous Bajocian limestone soil
Viticulture (trade): Sustainable
Vinification: Crushed, long (6-hour) press cycle, ambient yeast fermentation with pied de vat , aged 12 months in 228L and/or 600L barrels, no fining, occasional light filtration, minimal SO2 addition only if necessary during aging and before bottling.
Lighter-bodied than many Bourgogne Blancs with hints of apple skin, stone fruit pit, and desert herbs with a pleasant minerald and acid backbone. The ethereal side of Burgundy from one of the regions up and coming cult producers.
