AGRUMATO®’s Extra Virgin Lemon Olive Oil was the first in the line of citrus extra virgin olive oils to be created and put on the market. It was inspired by a process of cleaning the machinery used during the oil campaign by some oil millers in Abruzzo, from which, the Ricci brothers of Lanciano, took inspiration.
Being an end-of-the-oil-campaign cleaning process, the result was by no means an extra virgin olive oil, the Ricci brothers, however, were the first in the world to understand its potential, so after years of testing and study they fine-tuned a secret recipe, creating a top-quality line of citrus-flavored EVO oils. The Ricci brothers were the first in the world to upset the standards of oil production by creating the current trend of EVO oils and citrus condiments in the world.
