Kamotsuru Tokusei Gold Daiginjo Sake - A Honjozo style of sake with 50% rice polish ratio and two gold leaf Sakura Blossoms that dance in the bottle, this is the signature sake from Kamotsuru Shuzo Brewery. It is also credited for being the first ever diaginjo style of sake crafted in the history of Japanese sake making. Daiginjo is a classification for premium sake and can be used when a minimum of 50% of the outer rice layer is polished away. Pronounced flavors of ripe honeydew melon, cantaloupe, fresh pineapple, and a hint of banana that lingers on the finish. The gold flakes are edible and are meant to represent two cranes who've mated for life.
