Here we introduce you to Rothaus Eiszäpfle. The finest barley malt from southern Germany, spring-fresh brewing water, and the renowned aroma hops from Tettnang and the Hallertau region define the full-bodied flavor of this beer. A higher original gravity and a rather mild hopping process contribute to its distinctive, malty character.
Also worth mentioning is the name "Märzen." Beers of this brewing style are traditionally stronger, as brewing was only permitted between September and April. Thus, a longer-lasting beer was produced in March, which could then survive the five months without further brewing.
